Obtaining accreditation from
the
Canadian Psychiatric Association (CPA-APC)
Wondering how you can begin the process of obtaining CE credits through our interprofessional teleseminar and webinar programs? Below are some easy-to-follow steps so that you can be formally recognized by your accrediting association that has approved our seminar sessions.

Important to note:
- If you are not yet a CPA-APC member, please complete and submit a Membership Form to: CPA Membership, Canadian Psychiatric Association, 141 Laurier Avenue West, Suite 701, Ottawa, ON, K1P 5J3 or call (613) 234-2815 ext 231
- For CPA-APC members, you must earn at least 400 credits in each 5-year cycle. At least 40 hours of continuing professional development must be completed in each year of each cycle
- If you wish to find out the number of credits earned, you can also contact the Office of Professional Development at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons by telephone at 1-800-461-9598 or by e-mail at cpd@rcpsc.edu

THREE easy steps!
STEP 1 |
Register for one (or both) of our CFPC-CCL Seminars (teleseminar/webinar)
Teleseminar – approved for 1.5 Continuing Education credits
Webinar – approved for 2.0 Section 1 CE credits

STEP 2 |
Participants should keep track of their credits by using the Mainport website
|
STEP 3
|
Upon seminar completion, report credits to the CPA-APC by using the Mainport website
** Please note that the deadline for submitting your credits from participating in the CFPC-CCL Teleseminar or Webinar is January 31 of the following year (i.e. latest January 31, 2008)** |
