Obtaining accreditation from the Canadian Psychiatric Association (CPA-APC)

Wondering how you can begin the process of obtaining CE credits through our interprofessional teleseminar and webinar programs?  Below are some easy-to-follow steps so that you can be formally recognized by your accrediting association that has approved our seminar sessions.

Important to note:

  • If you are not yet a CPA-APC member, please complete and submit a Membership Form to: CPA Membership, Canadian Psychiatric Association, 141 Laurier Avenue West, Suite 701, Ottawa, ON, K1P 5J3 or call (613) 234-2815 ext 231
  • For CPA-APC members, you must earn at least 400 credits in each 5-year cycle. At least 40 hours of continuing professional development must be completed in each year of each cycle
  • If you wish to find out the number of credits earned, you can also contact the Office of Professional Development at the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons by telephone at 1-800-461-9598 or by e-mail at cpd@rcpsc.edu
